The aim of this promotional leaflet is to sell the Vitra
international furniture collection in a dynamic way. The design reflects the 3
Dimensional aesthetics of a contemporary furniture design range. Influences for
the leaflet design include the architecture of Tate Modern and exhibition
designs.
The furniture designs use illustration techniques taken from rough sketches and mock-ups and then rendered in Photoshop.
The project was difficult to do and involved a lot of experimental work which pulled the project together well. Vitra is a growing international furniture design company and I have helped distribute some of their products in my field of work.

Design a contemporary 3D Toy for a boy or girl aged 3-8
years that encourages interaction and imaginative play.
The designs started off as a rough sketch using just pencil
and paper. I then carefully drew over the template using a felt tip. The
template was scanned, then edited in photoshop. I used the measuring tools in
photoshop, such as the polygonal lasso tool and rectangular marquee tool to
neaten up the edges and the painting tools. I had to create a few layers for
the logo using the layer styles; such as stroke, inner shadow and drop shadow
to make the objects stand out and the text was layered on top. Designs were
saved using JPEG format and also psd for re-editing.
The development and mock-ups lead to a pleasing and workable
solution for this project.

Re-designing Bentley Tile Centre
Logo
Design, Adobe-Photoshop
My client wanted a new logo design for Bentley Ceramics
called "Bentley Tile Centre." The goal was to make the logo look more
colourful and attractive to attract new customers. I did a few samples for my
client.
